“Randy, what—”

“How about you?” Randy inquired, cutting him off. "I would imagine spending your senior year in a new school wasn’t very thrilling.”

“Yeah, I kept to myself, and did my work. Oddly, it’s where I met Samantha, my best friend. She was at the bar with me last weekend? Anyway, I should introduce you to her sometime, you two would get along beautifully.”

“Sounds good. Any ball?”

“Some, but my focus turned toward college.”

They chatted more about the good-ole-days, Frank detailing his senior year in a new school. He had wanted to ask about Randy’s experiences, but the man seemed disinterested, waving him away. He supposed things hadn’t been too great after he’d moved.
